Job Title: Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: LoudLocal, Kenilworth, Warwickshire 

Hours: Flexible, 16-20 hours per week

Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage

Job Type: Part-time

We specialise in providing locally focused digital services, including local SEO, social media management, website design, and paid advertising, to help businesses thrive locally. Our team are passionate about helping our clients succeed, and we are committed to providing outstanding digital marketing services.

Job Description:

LoudLocal is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This part-time position offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals with other commitments such as childcare or studying. We are located conveniently in Kenilworth, within commutable distance from Leamington Spa, Coventry, and the University of Warwick.

Key Responsibilities:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, and the areas you will work on will be dependent on client demand, team capacity and areas of expertise. 

  1. Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns for our clients across various platforms, including social media, search engines, and websites.

  2. Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities in the digital marketing landscape.

  3. Create and schedule social media content, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.

  4. Write blog articles to support the development of website content and assist in basic website design tasks.

  5. Collaborate with the team to analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements.

  6. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients.

  7. Undertake training related to the areas of digital marketing we support (SEO, Website Design, Local SEO, and Paid Ads)  and develop skills and knowledge within that particular field. 

Blog Writing:
  1. Create engaging and informative blog posts for both LoudLocal's website and our clients' websites.

  2. Research relevant topics, keywords, and trends to produce high-quality content.

  3. Ensure blog posts are optimised for SEO to improve organic search rankings.

  4. Collaborate with the team to develop content calendars and maintain a consistent posting schedule.

Technical Website Changes:
  1. Assist in making technical updates and improvements to LoudLocal's website and client websites.

  2. Implement website changes related to design, functionality, and user experience.

  3. Collaborate with web developers and designers to execute technical updates effectively.

  4. Ensure website changes are in line with best practices for performance and security.

SEO Optimisation:
  1. Work on improving the SEO performance of client websites.

  2. Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify optimization opportunities.

  3. Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to enhance search engine visibility.

  4. Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

Prior experience is optional, but a genuine interest in building a career in digital marketing is essential.

A professional qualification in marketing, such as CIM or IDM, would be advantageous.

Candidates with a background in marketing or related subjects at the University level are preferred.

Tools and Platforms:

We use a variety of different platforms which include Hubspot, SEMrush, Wix, WordPress, Google Business Profiles, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Marketing, and Shopify. If you have prior experience in these areas, please indicate this on your application, but this is not essential, and we will be happy to train you on each of these platforms.
