Case study Hi Fi Excellence

HiFix wanted to develop its Facebook advertising, but already had a knowledgeable marketer in house. Practical training gave the business a way to build that capability within its own team.

The brief

Luke managed marketing and technical work for HiFix, a specialist audio retailer. The business wanted to reach customers through Facebook, but wasn't sure how to build relevant audiences for its products.

The initial conversation showed that Luke had the digital knowledge to manage more of the work himself. Training was a better fit than asking HiFix to hand over the account.

Why training made sense

Our recommendation was based on the support the business needed. Giving Luke a better understanding of the platform would let him create and manage campaigns in house, with more control over the work.

We agreed 18 hours of training over two months, focused on Facebook Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite and the related business tools used for the project.

What the training covered

The sessions began with the available tools, then moved into building and managing relevant audiences. Luke learned how to shape ad content around those audiences and review campaign performance.

The work was practical, with the detail connected to HiFix's products and the customers it wanted to reach.

The results

Following the training, HiFix ran a Facebook campaign that generated more than £22,555 in reported sales from £1,300 in advertising spend, in just under three months.

The lasting benefit was the knowledge Luke could use to manage the work himself. It is a good example of why training can be the right answer when a business already has capable people in house.
