Case study Bronx Boxing

Bronx Boxing needed a website ready for launch and local marketing support. We worked with founder Marnie Swindells to prepare the site for customers and a major increase in attention.

The brief

Marnie came to LoudLocal through Wix while preparing to launch Bronx Boxing in Camberwell in 2023. The initial request was for local SEO, but the website also needed work before it could go live.

The project had a tight deadline as Marnie's appearance on The Apprentice neared its finale. The site needed to make joining straightforward and cope with the attention around the announcement.

Website and technical improvements

We reviewed the design, headings and page structure, then improved the layouts across desktop, tablet and mobile. Clear calls to action gave visitors a better route to the information and membership options they needed.

Our Wix support also covered the membership system, making sign-up part of the website experience.

Testing before launch

The website was tested from beginning to end, with issues addressed before launch. The team also considered the expected increase in traffic around The Apprentice final.

The supplied project reporting recorded more than 7,000 website visitors on the day the winner was announced. That was an important event in the launch, rather than a result to attribute solely to SEO.

Local SEO

After launch, the work moved towards local visibility. Support covered Google Business Profile, directory listings, relevant website content and blog writing.

The focus was on making the club easier for potential members to find and understand, alongside the website improvements already completed.
