Case study Equilibrium Lifestyle

Equilibrium Lifestyle needed a separate identity and online store for its handmade wellbeing products. Our work brought together the brand, website and practical tools for managing the business.

The brief

The products had previously been listed on the website of sister business Life Equilibrium. The new store needed to give them a home of their own, while keeping a connection between the brands.

Founder Nadine wanted a calm look and a clear focus on the business's approach to materials and sustainability. Having worked together on the earlier website, we already understood the business's thinking.

Developing the brand

The identity used related imagery with a different colour palette, so each business could be recognised without losing the link between them. The work included a logo, icons and a consistent design approach.

Regular face-to-face meetings gave us time to discuss the details with the client. That understanding helped shape the website content around the handmade products and the values behind them.

Building the online store

For this project, WordPress and WooCommerce offered the customisation the business needed. Elementor was used for the page design, with products added and organised into suitable categories.

The store was reviewed across mobile and tablet layouts, alongside content and image improvements for search. The recommendation was specific to this build, rather than a suggestion that every Wix store needs to move.

Practical features for the business

Stock information

Stock alerts helped the team manage availability, while customers could register interest in out-of-stock products.

Checkout and follow-up

Mailchimp was connected for abandoned-cart reminders, alongside the store's payment arrangements. The project also included Klarna and a range of shipping options.

Social and charity connections

Pinterest was added alongside the business's current social channels. A separate custom-built integration supported its chosen charity, and the team discussed the requirements directly with the charity.

Packaging and marketing materials

The brand work extended beyond the website to packaging and promotional materials. The client wanted the materials to reflect the business's values, with recycled and recyclable cardboard and water-based glue used for the packaging described in the project.

Supplier recommendations helped the team find suitable printing and packaging options.

The outcome

Equilibrium Lifestyle gained a distinct brand and a working ecommerce website, with a calmer design and practical store-management features. The project reporting showed a monumental 1,492% increase in organic search traffic after launch and a Lighthouse performance score (Google PageSpeed Insights) of 93.

"It has been a fantastic journey, and a huge pleasure to work with you."

Nadine, founder of Equilibrium Lifestyle

Retain approved original reporting for the organic-search and Lighthouse results where useful.
